Description
The Lady Desert also called The Venus of Nevada can be found at the Goldwell Open Air Museum. The lady is made of cinder blocks and has pink skin and yellow hair. It was constructed in 1922 by Dr. Hugo Heyrman, a Belgian artist. The colorful woman is in contrast with the drab brown color of the desert. It is also meant to show the digital pixilated nature of modern life.
