Milky Way over the Ou River near Longquan in China Throw Pillow

Before setting out for this riverside destination, I saw with disappointment clouds blocking the stars. But having already prepared my gear and the dog, etc.. I decided to head out anyways. Luckily soon after arrival at the spot, there was an opening of the clouds for about an hour where I could capture this image of the Milky Way over the Ou River. The lights from the Chinese city of Longquan can be seen glaring up from behind the mountain range on the right side of the river. The small lights on the right and left sides of the river are evening fishermen. (July 2019)
