On a cold December night, the full moon rises over the beach at Assateague Island National Seashore.
After a tiring day of searching for the famous Assateague ponies to photograph I sat on the beach to contemplate life and listen to the tide coming in. Just after sunset I was surprised by a large golden full moon rising up out of the Atlantic Ocean. A nice ending to a good day. (Dec 2018)
