Description
Arnel Lighthouse is located at Ponta do Arnel, on the northeast tip of the Azores island of Sao Miguel. The lighthouse first entered into service on November 26, 1976 and was the first lighthouse in the Azores. The lighthouse is still manned and operating today to provide a marine navigational beacon.
