Description
Ivy claims Suichang is a poor area in Zhejiang Province. Perhaps economically that is true, but it is rich in natural and cultural aspects. One of the attractions, in Suichang, is Shenlong Valley. Shenlong Valley is 615 hectares in size and surrounded by impressively steep mountains. There is a main stream flowing through it and many smaller tributaries. In the scenic area, the river and tributaries form many waterfalls. The main one being, of course, Shenlong Waterfall; a three part 300 meter high, 60 meter wide waterfall.
This is an image, captured from the side, of the first of the three drops of Shenlong Waterfall. It was a cloudy day and the light peaked through the clouds for an instant to light up this section falls. (March 2019)
