When my dog, Xiao Bao, and I left the house at 3AM, it was cloudy, which was not a good sign. I figured, we had already got up and gathered all the equipment, so we'll just ride over and see if the weather breaks. On the ride over it got foggy, another bad sign...
We arrived at the base of the mountain we had to clim,b and it was foggy and I assumed overcast. I planned to cancel the shoot, and just ride on up the road to see what the conditions were in the village. On the way up the mountain, we rose up out of the fog and there was a clear starry sky. OK, the shoot was back on. We raced back down and started hiking up.
