Description
An early morning hike was rewarded with a spectacular sunrise. As the sun rose above the mountain's crest, the event was mirrored on the pond's still surface resulting in a dual sunburst. To the left in the image, mist is still rising off the pond in the cool morning air. East Pond is located in the White Mountain National Forest of New Hampshire. (June 2021)
