Description
Lakes of the clouds hut is the highest and most visited destination amongst the Appalachian Mountain Club's locations. It is located down the Eastern slope of the US East coat's highest mountain, Mount Washington. There are two small spring fed lakes which contrast with the stone and tundra landscape surrounding them. This image is looking across one of the lakes at Mount Monroe. If you look closely you can even see three people standing on top of Mount Monroe! (September 2019)
